Phase two of Your Big Health Conversation is now complete.
We have prepared a high-level presentation summarising what we heard, and you can see those results by clicking here. A full report, giving much more detail about what we were told, is being prepared.
Phase one was largely survey-based and online. Whilst we had almost 2,000 respondents with over 20,000 comments we wanted to have more detailed discussions with local people to understand their thoughts and views.
During phase two we held discussions with patients and carers from across Portsmouth and south east Hampshire. We worked with the voluntary sector who kindly helped us to go to over 20 different groups across the area so we could talk to a range of people who had a variety of experiences. The discussions focused on the following four specific subjects: mental health care; frailty; long-term illnesses and same-day services. We also ran a online survey for those who preferred to share their views this way.
