Maggie MacIsaac, Chief Executive, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Partnership of Clinical Commissioning Groups, Southampton City Clinical Commissioning Group and West Hampshire Clinical Commissioning Group, said:
“This report is excellent news for patients.
“The CQC highlighted how the Trust is working well to co-ordinate with other local services – this is essential to give patients joined-up care, and across the local health and care system we are all working to integrate services more effectively, for the benefit of the people using them.
“Staff at Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust have made tremendous strides, and should be congratulated for the progress they have made. Their focus on improvement has been clear and consistent, from Board to ward and the report today is testament to their hard work and commitment.
“The Trust is clear that there is still work to do to deliver the highest standards in all areas, and we will continue to work with the Trust and partners to secure those improvements.”
