The Primary Care Commissioning Committee for both Fareham and Gosport and South Eastern Hampshire clinical commissioning groups (CCGs) stages its next meeting in public this Wednesday (March 1).
It will be the first time the meeting has been held at its new venue – the two CCGs’ headquarters at the CommCen Building at Fort Southwick, James Callaghan Drive, Fareham, PO17 6AR.
Meetings have previously been held at Havant.
Visitors are welcome to attend the meeting, which will be from 2pm-4pm. The vehicle security barrier at the site entrance will be raised to give access.
Agenda items include reports on finance, communication and engagement as well as an update on primary care estates issues.
The nine-member committee includes three lay members, one of whom chairs the meeting, and the two CCGs’ clinical chairs, who are both GPs.
They make collective decisions on the review, planning and procurement of primary care services across the area under delegated authority from NHS England.
