Fair Processing Notice – our approach to keeping your information safe

The aim of our Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is to ensure that local people receive the best and most efficient healthcare service possible.

That job involves the CCG commissioning (basically planning and buying) most of the NHS healthcare services used by residents in our area, and also checking that those services are working as well as they should.

However, none of our staff are directly involved in any ‘frontline’ services, and so we do not routinely hold, or receive, personal information about patients.

Our factsheets tell you more about how and why our CCG may – occasionally - use information about you, and how we keep it safe in line with the law. On the relatively rare occasions when we may use information that identifies you, we would only do so if we had your consent. If we do not have your consent, we will only use anonymous information.
